Happy Australia Day

A historical place to visit is the First Fleet garden at Wallabadah in NSW.  The name of every person who was on the ships is inscribed on the memorial stones.

Australia's National Anthem.

Linking with Outdoor Wednesday, do visit Susan for lots of outdoor shots and stories

Have a great day!

  2. Hi again Jan, I haven't visited The first fleet Garden? There is so much to see...Imagine, everyones name written there in rememberance, good to know. I'd be interested in those names. It makes you wonder more about them. The hardships, knowing they might never return, lack of decent food, terror of a wild land. They were so brave...the emotional trauma was unrecognised.. They made our country. We should never forget where our roots eventuated.
